While existing users are familiar with it, they are often not aware of the latest valuable additions to the Browser's capabilites. The workshop will focus on useful features, mostly introduced in the past few years, that we know from experience have not been discovered by many of our most ardent users.

Learning Objectives:

  1. Record custom tracks into the Genome Browser using new data formats, interact and barChart, and save the results in a Saved Session.
  2. Formulate exon-only mode to display only regions of interest in RNA-seq or whole-exome sequencing.
  3. Apply multi-region mode to display user-specified regions of interest.
  4. Construct using GTEx transcript-specific expression data.
